This project aims to achieve long range (>50 km) multigigabit wireless backhaul communicaiton links, in the microwave spectrum (6-11 GHz).
The new CSIRO multigigabit wireless backhaul system employs a number of novel techniques to simultaneously realise high speed and long range.
Key innovations include:
- novel signal processing techniques to increase the power efficiency and hence the range- simplified system architecture to reduce the system cost
